Tradedge Labs respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tradedge collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and the choices users may have regarding their information.
When you create or use a Tradedge account, we may receive information such as your email address, authentication information, account preferences, trading-account labels, uploaded brokerage CSV information, trading history, executions, positions, P&L information, feedback, support requests, and subscription status.
Passwords are stored using secure password hashing rather than as readable plaintext.
When you upload brokerage history, Tradedge may process information such as symbols, options contracts, transaction types, quantities, prices, timestamps, fees, commissions, trade results, and brokerage-account metadata. Tradedge uses this information to provide journaling, analytics, import reconciliation, and related functionality.
Tradedge does not need your brokerage password to process supported CSV uploads.
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider. Tradedge may receive information such as customer identifiers, subscription status, plan, billing period, or payment status. Full card numbers and card security codes are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Tradedge through our normal hosted checkout process.
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate and protect the service, such as IP address, browser information, page or route visited, timestamps, request identifiers, authentication events, error information, and security/rate-limit information. We design analytics and feedback systems to avoid unnecessarily collecting sensitive trading content.
We may record general product events such as whether a user opened the scanner, journal, analytics, onboarding, or other features. We do not need to record the contents of a user's brokerage CSV merely to determine that an import succeeded.
We use information to operate Tradedge, authenticate users, provide the journal and analytics, process trade imports, provide scanner functionality, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, respond to feedback, improve the product, monitor reliability, and protect users and the service.
We do not sell user personal information to advertisers.
We may use third-party providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processing, monitoring, analytics, and other infrastructure. These providers may process limited information as necessary to provide their services to Tradedge.
Tradedge uses technical safeguards intended to protect user information. Current protections include authenticated accounts, database-level tenant isolation, HTTPS, restricted system permissions, secure session handling, access controls, and backup procedures. However, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Tradedge is designed so that one normal user should not be able to access another user's trades, executions, brokerage accounts, imports, feedback, subscription information, or settings. Access controls are enforced on the server and, for user-owned database records, through database protections.
Uploaded brokerage CSV files may be processed temporarily to extract and normalize trading information. Tradedge does not need to make uploaded brokerage files publicly accessible. Where original uploaded files are not required after processing, they may be deleted while the normalized trading records and import metadata remain.
Tradedge may retain account information, trading records, import history, billing records, security records, and other information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or support user-requested functionality. Specific deletion and retention practices may evolve as Tradedge develops.
Users may request account closure or deletion through available account controls or by contacting Tradedge. If an active paid subscription exists, Tradedge may first need to cancel or reconcile that subscription so the user is not charged for an inaccessible account. Certain information may need to be retained where permitted or required for security, dispute resolution, financial record keeping, or legal compliance.
Tradedge uses cookies or similar session mechanisms to keep users signed in, maintain security, and protect authenticated sessions. These cookies are not intended to provide advertisers with access to your trading activity.
Tradedge may send emails for account verification, password resets, security notifications, subscription-related matters, beta access, or important service communications.
Tradedge is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly design Tradedge as a service for children.
This Privacy Policy may change as Tradedge adds new features, providers, or data practices. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email.
